- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Writing from Massachusetts to applaud Dr. Luking's efforts to expose the needless suffering and sometimes loss of life to individuals in NC unable to received needed health care because the Governor and legislature of North Carolina decided not to expand Medicaid coverage to the poor and working poor of the state. The ACA was a win-win for the states and for the people of this country, and even with the limitations imposed by the Supreme Court, it has proven to provide health care to the many who needed it in the states that accepted it, and to reduce the cost of medical care in this country in the process.
